Suede fringe jacket and Western shirt

A suede fringe jacket and a western shirt in my last outfit before the Coronavirus lockdown. These pics are from the beginning of March, so about a week before lockdown. It feels like ages ago. I have been struggling to adapt to a new daytime routine, and especially in the first week I was so anxious and nervous that it was hard for me to keep posting or even doing the usual stuff. Now it's getting better even tho Italy is really under major alarm and the number of sick people and dead people keeps growing. I am really scared and deeply sad.

Una giacca in camoscio con frange e una camicia western per il mio ultimo outfit prima del lockdown per prevenzione Coronavirus. Queste foto sono dell'inizio del mese di marzo, quindi circa una settimana prima della chiusura. Sembrano trascorsi anni. Ho fatto fatica ad adattarmi a questa nuova routine e specialmente nella prima settimana mi sentivo molto in ansia e nervosa quindi mi riusciva difficile postare o anche fare qualcosa di semplice. Ora sto meglio anche se l'Italia è davvero in un momento difficile e il numero dei contagiati e delle persone decedute continua a crescere. Mi sento molto spaventata e profondamente triste.

It is not easy to talk about fashion when the entire world is falling apart. I have always used this blog as a fashion and beauty place so I will keep doing it but of course it is not easy. This look is once again inspired by the Country world - I posted it for Women in Country already - especially with this lovely check shirt bought from Messico & Nuvole Firenze, a lovely shop for country lovers (look for it on Facebook!). I matched it with a pair of high waisted jeans and my red Valentino bag for a touch of glamour. I miss going out, I miss seeing family and friends, but I know my struggle is nothing compared to people in the hospital and people missing their loved ones, so we have to stay strong, pray and stay home as much as we can to stop the spreading of this dangerous virus.

Non è facile parlare di moda quando il mondo sembra sull'orlo del baratro. Ho sempre usato questo blog per parlare di moda e bellezza e continuerò a farlo ma ovviamente non è facile.

Questo look è stato ispirato ancora una volta dal mondo Country - l'ho postato anche per Women in Country - specialmente grazie a questa adorabile camicia a quadri presa da Messico & Nuvole Firenze, uno shop carinissimo per tutti gli amanti del country (cercatelo su Facebook!). L'ho abbinato con un paio di jeans a vita alta e la mia borsa rossa Valentino per un tocco di glamour. Mi manca uscire, mi manca vedere la mia famiglia e gli amici ma so che il mio dispiacere non è nulla in confronto a chi soffre negli ospedali e a chi ha perso le persone care, per cui dobbiamo stare forti, pregare e restare a casa più che possiamo per fermare la diffusione di questo virus pericoloso.
