What to wear to a summer wedding: my outfit with a pure silk maxi dress and a metallic sheen

What to wear to a summer wedding? This first august outfit post is featuring a wedding attire I sported last week for the wedding of my good friends. The weather was extremely hot and this light maxi dress in pure silk was perfect to keep it both fresh and elegant. I chose a metallic sheen both with the jacquard fabric of this dress and with my accessories: golden cage sandals from Giovanni Fabiani and a lovely metallic clutch from Malloni.

Cosa indossare ad un matrimonio estivo? Il primo outfit di agosto mi vede con un look da matrimonio che ho sfoggiato la scorsa settimana in occasione delle nozze di miei cari amici. Faceva molto caldo e questo leggero maxi abito in pura seta è stato perfetto per essere sia fresca che elegante. Ho scelto riflessi metallici sia per la stoffa jacquard dell'abito che per gli accessori: sandali dorati a gabbia di Giovanni Fabiani e una adorabile clutch di Malloni.

Evening wedding outfit with a maxi dress and Giovanni Fabiani sandals

Wearing a lightweight fabric is important when the wedding is going to be in a hot month, and what's better than pure silk? The wedding was in the afternoon and evening, therefore this Lazzari maxi dress was the most appropriate choice. I decided to sport a light makeup, with a metallic lipstick from MAC and I wore my Dior rose gold sunglasses. So here's my wedding outfit: romantic, feminine and also trendy enough thanks to the metallic trend being very hot. I danced (and my Giovanni Fabiani sandals are both beautiful and comfy) and had fun and was very happy to witness my friends' happiest day in spite of the humid and extremely hot day! I am thinking to wear this dress also with a denim jacket and sneakers soon, what do you think? Did you attend any wedding this summer?

Indossare una stoffa impalpabile è importante quando il matrimonio è in un mese caldo, e cosa è meglio della pura seta? Il matrimonio era di pomeriggio e sera, pertanto questo abito lungo di Lazzari è stata una scelta appropriata. Ho deciso di sfoggiare un makeup leggero, con un rossetto metallico di MAC e ho scelto occhiali da sole oro rosa Dior. Ecco il mio outfit da matrimonio: romantico, femminile e anche trendy grazie al trend metallico che è molto in. Ho ballato (e i miei sandali Giovanni Fabiani sono sia belli e comodi) e mi sono divertita e sono stata molto felice di essere lì a testimoniare il giorno più felice dei miei amici, nonostante la giornata fosse molto umida ed estremamente calda! Sto pensando di indossare nuovamente questo abito con una giacca in jeans e sneakers, che ne pensate? Siete state a qualche matrimonio quest'estate?
