Happy Valentines day, everyone ! This is a day to celebrate the love in our lives, so, either you are happily in a couple or a single, let's stop for a second to cherish what we have. I don't need many persons in my life, but the ones I have are too precious, I am grateful for every moment spent with them, and I have to say since the loss of my beloved granma I learned to appreciate my loved ones even more. What are you up to, tonight ? I am going out to dinner with hubby - something we often indulge in ! I am definately missing both Sanremo Festival finale and Fifty Shades of Grey movie, so hubby is happy, LOL. This is not only lovers day anyway, since this is a fashion blog, it's also time for a new outfit. This time, as the brave fashion blogger I am, I explored the russian doll trend, with a mixture of rich printswith a deep wine red blouse and a rococo roses intarsia midi skirt, both from Chicwish. I added a faux fur jacket and my Mohekann clutch for a luxe babushka mood, and wore my front lace up boots from Roberto Botticelli, from a few seasons ago.

Buon San Valentino a tutti ! Questo è un giorno adatto a celebrare l'amore che c'è nelle nostre vite, pertanto, sia se siamo felicemente in coppia che single, fermiamoci un attimo a pensare a tutto ciò di buono che abbiamo. Non ho bisogno di tante persone nella mia vita, ma quelle che amo sono troppo preziose, sono grata per ogni istante trascorso con loro, e vi confesso che dalla scomparsa della mia adorata nonna ho imparato ad apprezzare chi amo ancora di più. Cosa farete stasera ? Io andrò a cena col maritino - a dire il vero, un'attività alla quale ci dedichiamo spesso ! Ci perderemo sia la Finale del Festival di Sanremo che 50 sfumature di grigio al cinema, pertanto mio marito può dirsi già soddisfatto, LOL. Questo comunque non è solo il giorno degli innamorati, ma, dato che questo è un fashion blog, è anche il momento per un nuovo outfit. Questa volta, da fashion blogger coraggiosa, ho voluto esplorare il trend bambola russa, con un misto di stampe e tessuti dato da una blusa di un bel rosso borgogna e la midi skirt a rose rococo, entrambi di Chicwish. Ho aggiunto un giacchino in ecopelliccia e la mia clutch Mohekann per accentuare il mood babushka di lusso, mentre ai piedi ho calzato un paio di stivali allacciati Roberto Botticelli di qualche stagione fa.

Baroque print midi skirt for my fashion Matryoshka look

The rose pattern of this baroque print midi skirt has pink and golden tones on a dark background, so I could have easily paired it with a black top, but I went for color instead, with this faux suede top in wine color. I felt like wearing my Mohekann Navajo clutch, that has that opulent ethnic touch and looks good also with a more casual outfit, like the one you saw a while ago. Russian style features statement jewelry, and I added a bold red necklace, floral bangles from Accessorize and my Moschino studded sunglasses. A bold red lipstick, MAC russian red, and Chanel Tenderly nail polish from Chanel Spring 2015 makeup collection Reverie Parisienne completed my russian doll look that, in these days of Carnival, could also be useful to dress up as a fashion Matryoshka, LOL !.  

Una midi skirt barocca per un look da fashion Matryoshka

La stampa a rose di questa gonna midi barocca ha toni rosa e dorati su uno sfondo nero, per cui si abbina benissimo ad un top scuro, ma io ho scelto il colore con questo top rosso scuro in finto camoscio. Ho scelto la clutch Mohekann Navajo, che ha quel tocco etnico ed opulento, e si abbina anche ad outfit più casual, come quello che vi mostrai diverso tempo fa. Lo stile russo prevede gioielli importanti, per cui ho abbinato una collana vistosa, bracciali rigidi floreali Accessorize ed occhiali da sole borchiati Moschino. Un rossetto rosso vivo, Mac russian red, ed il nuovo smalto Chanel Tenderly, dalla collezione makeup Chanel Primavera 2015 Reverie Parisienne, hanno completato il mio look russian doll che, in questi giorni di Carnevale, potrebbe anche servirmi per vestirmi da fashion Matryoshka, LOL !.
