50s style mint lace dress

Hey everyone ! A long weekend is waiting for us and I am so happy about it, I need it !. I am not going anywhere in particular this time, but I am just happy to be able to take things a bit slowly, enjoying little things ! Let's celebrate the weekend traveling only...in time, with a vintage 50s style outfit, thanks to this lace midi dress with red strips I found on Chicwish, my little red "Bonjour" crossbody bag and one of my favorite necklaces for Spring/Summer 2014 from Sodini bijoux.

Ciao a tutti ! Ci aspetta un weekend lungo e ne sono molto felice, ne avevo bisogno !. Non andrò in nessun posto in particolare questa volta, ma sono già soddisfatta di poter rallentare con i ritmi, godendomi le piccole cose ! Celebriamo il weekend viaggiando solo...nel tempo, con un outfit un po' stile vintage anni 50, grazie a questo abitino in pizzo menta a lunghezza midi, con inserti in rosso, trovato su Chicwish, la mia tracollina rossa "Bonjour" ed una delle mie collane preferite della collezione Primavera/Estate 2014 Sodini bijoux.

Distressed jeans, Fringed bag

Hey, how are you all ? I have been feeling very stressed lately, and whenever I am feeling a bit low or discouraged, I try to workout more - it does wonders to my mood - and also I put a rock, stronger mood into my outfits. The result is an outfit like this one, with a trendy pair of very distressed jeans, a fringed clutch and a beautiful Vitti Ferria Contin necklace ! Because life is too short to cry over ourselves in a corner, and it's also too short to wear boring clothes, am I right ?.

Lancioni 1973: Tuttomondo by Keith Haring

Hi everyone ! You probably know already how much I love accessories. I do believe an outfit is not complete without them, and I absolutely love scarves, I rock them all year ! Therefore, I am really glad to show you my new scarf from Lancioni 1973, an italian brand producing high quality scarves with beautiful prints and light, precious fabrics. I browsed through their online webshop and I couldn't decide myself as all their print were so beautiful ! I then chose a gorgeous large scarf with the famous Keith Haring "Tuttomondo" print, in micromodal and silk.

I love Keith Haring art and this colorful print reproduces part of a murales dedicated to peace and harmony in the world, created in Pisa.

A reason more to love this pretty scarf, I can't wait to wear it in my looks, both casual and elegant. Even the box is beautiful, everything is perfect in every little detail, here's a little spoiler, waiting to show you how I style it !.

Credo fermamente che un outfit sia completo solo con degli accessori giusti, e le sciarpe sono fondamentali per me, le porto tutto l'anno ! Pertanto, sono davvero felice di mostrarvi la mia nuova sciarpa Lancioni 1973, brand tutto italiano che produce sciarpe di grande qualità con stampe molto belle e tessuti leggeri e preziosi.

Cercando nel loro shop online, non riuscivo a sceglierne una sola, sono tutte così belle ! La mia attenzione si è focalizzata su una stupenda, larga sciarpa con la celebre stampa "Tuttomondo" di Keith Haring, in micromodal e seta.

Adoro l'arte di Keith Haring e questa coloratissima stampa è la riproduzione di parte di un murales ispirato alla pace ed all'armonia nel mondo, che Haring ha creato a Pisa.

Motivo in più per amare questa bella sciarpa, che non vedo l'ora di indossare sia con look casual che eleganti. Persino la confezione è bella, tutto è curato nei dettagli, ve li anticipo in attesa di farvela vedere indosso !.

Hi everyone and Happy Saturday ! The weekend is finally here and I couldn't be happier ! This time I want to show you a chic and feminine look with this elegant cute three-quarter sleeved black lace dress, it's a purchase I made online on Blackfive webshop. 
This mini dress has everything to be a favorite of mine: black lace, the cut with a defined waistline and the flared bottom part.  I decided to accessorize this dress with my beautiful matching necklace and bracelet Sodini bijoux, from their Spring/Summer 2014 collection, a very classic Louis Vuitton bag, new watch from Daniel Wellington and brand new Nando Muzi cap toe slingback pumps.

Questo mini abito ha tutto ciò che serve per diventare uno dei miei preferiti: pizzo nero, un taglio con punto vita in evidenza e la parte della gonna a ruota. Ho deciso di accessoriarlo con il mio bellissimo completo collana e bracciale Sodini, della collezione Primavera/Estate 2014, una borsa Louis Vuitton che è un classico intramontabile, nuovo orologio Daniel Wellington e con un paio di scarpe nuove cap toe Nando Muzi.

Run like an ostrich !

Hey everyone ! I have had a few very busy days at work and today I want to show you a casual outfit featuring a few new items in my closet. 

I am sure you immediately noticed the cute ostrich on my mint t-shirt ! It's from the italian brand Sister & Sister, and I love this top ! This brand, born thanks a partnership between Rosy Gadda Conti and Simona Guarducci, produces lovely t-shirts with a great quality fabric and the illustrations are inspired by nature and all very cute and original. Everything is totally Made in Italy and produced in collaboration with small artisans, and I can really feel the difference wearing this piece of clothing. 

There were many beautiful designs to choose from, but as soon as I saw the ostrich I knew it had to be my choice...I like these animals because of their big eyes with long eyelashes...because of their ability to run fast (and running shoes are part of this look !) and maybe because sometimes I would like to do like them and bury my head in the sand to avoid my problems, LOL !

Ciao a tutti ! Come state ? Ho avuto un po' di giorni frenetici al lavoro ed oggi riesco finalmente a mostrarvi un outfit casual composto da qualche novità nel mio guardaroba.

Sono sicura che avrete immediatamente notato il carinissimo struzzo sulla t-shirt menta ! E' del brand italiano Sister & Sister, e adoro questa maglia ! C'erano tanti bei disegni tra i quali poter scegliere, ma non appena ho visto lo struzzo sapevo che sarebbe stato la mia scelta...questi animali mi piacciono troppo, con i loro occhioni dalle ciglia lunghissime...per la loro abilità nel correre (e le scarpe da running sono incluse in questo look !), e forse anche perché a volte mi piacerebbe essere come loro e nascondere la testa nella sabbia per evitare i problemi, LOL !.

Mint tulle skirt

Hey everyone ! How are you doing ? Today I want to show you an outfit with one of my favorite piece of clothing for this Spring/Summer: my mint midi tulle skirt !. As you probably know already, tulle skirts are a hot trend this year, and this gives us a chance to wear something so romantic and girly everyday. I must confess when I went out with this attire, I felt the admiration from kids staring at me in the streets, and it put me in a good mood, because after all we are all entitled to live our own fairytale, don't you think ? And dressing up like a princess can be a good start, LOL !.

Come probabilmente già saprete, le gonne in tulle sono molto di moda quest'anno, il che ci rende possibile indossare qualcosa di così romantico e "girly" per tutti i giorni. Confesso che quando sono uscita così abbigliata, ho sentito soprattutto gli occhi dei bambini su di me, mi guardavano ammirati, il che mi ha messa di buon umore: dopotutto ognuno di noi ha diritto a vivere la propria favola, giusto ? Vestirsi un po' da principessa può essere un buon inizio, LOL !.

Cake for Breakfast

Let me share something about my everyday life with you: I like my breakfast to be VERY sweet. I have a passion for cake, dessert, pancakes, cookies, biscuits, and I crave them especially when I wake up in the morning.

I try to have a healthy lifestyle so I manage to have breakfast with milk and cereals during the week, but on weekends I gotta have something special, and hubby knows it, whenever he goes out to buy the newspapers, he also stops by a café to bring me a sweet treat for my morning meal. Why am I telling you this ? Because I found a lovely little webshop with the cutest name Cake for Breakfast, and in this simple casual look I sported Saturday morning, I am wearing a Cake for Breakfast tee, with the writing "Gimme some sugar", a not really subliminal message to my hubby, he knows that I would get all grumpy and nervous if I didn't have a sweete and delicious breakfast, therefore he avoids all risks buying me a nice piece of cake ! ;)

Lasciate che vi sveli qualcosa della mia vita di tutti i giorni: mi piace fare una colazione MOLTO dolce. Ho la passione per dolci, dessert vari, pancakes, cookies, biscotti e ne ho un disperato bisogno soprattutto al mattino. 

Cerco di mantenere uno stile di vita sano, e di limitarmi a latte e cereali durante la settimana, ma nei weekends devo avere un trattamento speciale, e mio marito lo sa bene, perché quando esce a comprare i quotidiani mi porta sempre dei dolci per colazione. Perché vi dico questo ? Perché ho scoperto questo delizioso sito internet dal nome troppo bello: Cake for breakfast, e per questo semplice look casual che ho sfoggiato sabato mattina ho scelto una loro tee, con la scritta rosa "Gimme some sugar", messaggio non troppo subliminale per mio marito, che sa bene che diventerei musona e irritabile senza la mia dose di dolce per colazione, e pertanto evita ogni rischio rifornendosi al bar di un bel pezzo di torta ! ;)

Cream lace dress, Majestical necklace

May is said to be the month of roses, and when I saw these beautiful red rose bushes I took the chance to show you my latest outfit surrounded by their perfume and color, I love them !. For this look I am wearing maybe the most romantic dress I have in my closet, it's a delicate cream lace dress from Chicwish, that I chose to wear with a few edgy pieces, just like my beautiful statement necklace from Majestical. 

I like the mixture of sweet and romantic details with something "strong" as studs and black leather, just like I admire the beauty of a rose with its thorns, because after we all have more than one side in our personality and I think we should embrace what we entirely are !.

Si dice che maggio sia il mese delle rose, e quando ho visto dei bellissimi cespugli di rose rosse ho subito approfittato per mostrarvi questo outfit circondata dal loro profumo e colore, le adoro !. Questo look mi vede con indosso l'abito più romantico che ho nel mio armadio, un abito in pizzo molto delicato, color crema, di Chicwish, che ho deciso di abbinare ad alcuni pezzi particolari, come la mia nuova, bellissima statement necklace di Majestical. 

Mi piace il mix tra dettagli dolci e romantici e qualcosa di "forte" come le borchie e la pelle nera, proprio come una rosa sta bene tra le sue spine, perché dopotutto ognuno di noi ha diversi aspetti della personalità e dovremmo valorizzare ciò che siamo completamente !.

Foreo Luna Review

Hi everyone, hope you spent a happy Mother's day ! I spent the whole day out of home, with my family, and celebrated my mum, we had a big lunch in a cozy restaurant and then went for a walk. I felt like spending a bit of time without checking on my iPhone, I need it from time to time ;). Now I am back with this post, it's about skincare. 

In the past few weeks I've been experiencing a different level of cleanliness of my skin, beyond normal cleansing, thanks to this pink, lovely device you see me holding in my hand in this blurred selfie. This cute, revolutionary device, from the swedish brand Foreo, is named LUNA by Foreo, and my experience with it has been really positive so far !.

Ciao a tutti, spero che abbiate trascorso una piacevole Festa della Mamma ! Hey everyone ! I am so happy it's Friday and the weekend is starting soon, moreover it's gonna be the first weekend with a real Spring weather here, sunny and warm, after so much rain ! I am all ready to celebrate with a pop of bold and energetic colors, in my style, with a beautiful dress from Choies and my brand new colorful Millelire POP bracelet !.

Sono troppo felice che sia Venerdì e che il weekend stia finalmente arrivando, oltretutto le previsioni danno finalmente un tempo primaverile, caldo e soleggiato, ci voleva dopo tanta pioggia ! Sono pronta a festeggiarlo con un'esplosione di colori vivaci ed energetici, nel mio stile, con un bell'abito Choies e con il mio nuovissimo braccialetto Millelire POP !.

Praio sleeveless jacket

I do believe elegance is in the details, and casual meets chic in today's outfit, thanks to my brand new sleeveless jacket from the italian brand Praio, the key piece for this look. 

I was really glad to wear Praio first of all because I like the style of their Made in Italy pieces of clothing, and also because this italian brand is very attentive to ethics: it is indeed environmentally friendly and enhances the ecosystem using natural, recyclable, recycling and recovery materials, starting from the packaging.

Vitti Ferria Contin necklace

Hey everyone ! My mini holiday is over and it's time for a new outfit post ! This time, after a long serie of midi skirts and jeans, I want to show you this lovely green flared minidress from Sheinside. This shade of green is one of my favorite colors ever and I couldn't wait to wear this short sleeve round neck dress. I decided to focus on this lovely emerald color, matching it with black and silver details.

To make the whole look a precious one, it was enough for me to wear my brand new geometric shaped necklace from Vitti Ferria Contin, an italian Jewelry brand, producers of quality bijoux that are true works of art. 

I fell in love with the creations of Vittoria Ferri Contin, the designer, because she creates statement pieces, and  as you know I love my jewels to be eye catching. Vitti Ferria Contin Jewelry doesn't go unnoticed but at same time is elegant and chic, just like this necklace, rigorous with its shapes, but also very light and dynamic !.

Dopo una serie di look con gonne midi e con jeans, voglio mostrarvi questo delizioso mini abitino svasato in pizzo verde targato Sheinside. Questa tonalità di verde è molto amata dalla sottoscritta, e pur essendo ancora pallida non vedevo l'ora di indossare questo abito a maniche corte con scollo rotondo. Ho deciso così di focalizzarmi su questa vivace tonalità smeraldo, abbinandolo solo al nero con dettagli silver.

Ad impreziosire il tutto è bastato indossare la splendida collana con forme geometriche firmata Vitti Ferria Contin, un brand italiano di gioielli che si caratterizza per qualità ed originalità del design e che più che semplici bijoux crea delle vere e proprie opere d'arte con le quali adornarsi e rendere speciale ogni look. Cats print shirt, full skirt

Let's start the outfits for this month of May with a wish for good weather...it's been raining too much lately, also today the sky is dark and it's been raining cats and dogs, I am out of town with hubby and instead of taking pics and having a walk, all I did was finding shelter into shops ;)

I need a blue sky...blue like the main color of this look, featuring an Asos midi full skirt and a crazy and colorful cats print shirt I ordered from Romwe. A bon ton look with that touch of craziness that makes it really mine !.

Iniziamo gli outfit per questo mese di Maggio con l'auspicio di avere un meteo favorevole...ultimamente la pioggia è stata decisamente troppa per i miei gusti, anche oggi il cielo è nero e piove a dirottto, sono fuori città con mio marito ma anziché fare qualche bella passeggiata e scattare anche delle foto, ho potuto solo trovare rifugio nei negozi ;)

Ho un disperato bisogno di cielo blu senza nuvole...blu come il colore principale di questo look, costruito intorno ad una gonna midi a ruota Asos e ad una pazza camicia con stampa di gatti, esagerata e piena di colori, presa tempo fa su Romwe. Un outfit bon ton con quel tocco di follia che lo rende davvero mio !.

Welcome, May ! April 2014 outfits recap

Today is a very important date because is International Worker's Day aka Labor Day. I hope you are celebrating this day because you have a job, and I wish all the unemployed people looking for a job to find it very soon.

Today is also the start of a new month, May, and as we always do on the blog, it's time to recap the outfit posts from the previous month: April 2014. April has been a really weird month when it comes to weather...one day it seemed warmer, then we needed a coat again, and even now, in these days it's supposed to be cold and rainy, something I am not really looking forward to since I have a day off from work tomorrow and was up for some cool trips with hubby. Oh, well ! Let's see April looks, most of them were casual this time, and let me know your favorite one ! Mine are 1, 6, 8 and 9, what about yours ?.

Oggi è un giorno importante perché si celebra la Festa dei Lavoratori, e spero che stiate festeggiando perché avete un lavoro, inoltre auguro a tutti coloro che ne sono in cerca di riuscire a trovarlo presto.

Oggi è anche l'inizio di Maggio, e come accade tutte le volte, è il momento di riepilogare gli outfit del mese precedente, ovvero di Aprile. Aprile è stato un mese molto "pazzo" dal punto di vista metereologico...un giorno caldo e l'altro ancora freddo, da calze e cappotto, e sembra che il maltempo continuerà ad affliggerci anche in questi giorni, cosa che mi rende alquanto scontenta, dato che ho un giorno di ferie domani e avevo già programmato delle gitarelle ad hoc con il maritino. Comunque sia, ecco gli outfit di Aprile, aspetto di conoscere le vostre preferenze, parecchi sono stati casual.
