#thecookiejar - 5 beauty cravings

This is mostly a fashion blog, there is no need to say it, as I have a huge obsession with clothes and accessories, but deep in my heart I KNOW that if I put all the money I spend in make up and beauty products all together, I could easily buy myself a few Chanel bags per year. It's just that I can't resist to new make up products and to serums/creams that promise to make my skin glow and look well rested, even if I work at day and blog at night ;). 

Whenever I venture myself into Sephora, I end up buying way too many things, the beauty shop is my Wonderland. This edition of my #thecookiejar column is dedicated to what I am craving right now about beauty products...help me to resist, and tell me whether you have a few beauty cravings, as well, so that we can cheer each other up !.

Questo è principalmente un fashion blog, non c'è bisogno di dirlo, data la mia ossessione per abiti e accessori, ma in fondo al mio cuore io SO che se mettessi insieme tutti i soldi che spendo abitualmente in make up e prodotti di bellezza potrei facilmente comprarmi qualche borsa Chanel all'anno.

Il fatto è che non riesco proprio a resistere a non comprare nuovi prodotti make up e sieri/creme che promettano di rendere la mia pelle luminosa e dall'apparenza riposata, sebbene io dorma poco e lavori di giorno e blogghi la notte ;). 

Ogni volta che mi addentro da Sephora, finisco per uscirne carica di acquisti, la profumeria è il mio paese delle meraviglie. Questa edizione della rubrica #thecookiejar è dedicata alla mia wishlist di prodotti beauty...aiutatemi a resistere e fatemi sapere se anche voi avete qualche desiderio beauty, così ci possiamo consolare a vicenda !.

1. Le jour, La nuit and Le Weekend de Chanel: These beauty serums smell divine and feel and look luxury. I tried small samples offered at my beauty shop and since then I have been planning to purchase them all (my wallet is crying already !) ! Radiance and resistance are the goals of these serums that contain the following acids: Salicylic acid for Le Jour, Hyaluronic acid for La nuit and Glycolic acid for Le Weekend; the last one to be used only on Saturday and Sunday since it exfoliates the skin and tones down redness.

2. La Mer moisturizing cream: this legendary moisturizer has been in my wishlist for such a long time, the price is pretty expensive but soon or later I must have it ! I heard wonders about it, and it sounds perfect for my dry skin. Did anyone of you ever try it ?.

3: Gimme Brow - Benefit: For fuller brows, this volumizing gel sounds like the right one for Cara Delevingne inspired brows. I love Benefit so much that I must try this out !.

4. Shu Uemura Volume Maker: A brush that, spreading a light powder, creates more volume in my hair very quickly...for a volume lover gal like me, this is a must have ! If it works, you are warned...nobody's gonna put my big hair in a corner ! 

5. Blush de Guerlain limited edition collection Automne: I love the colors of this limited edition blush, and the black packaging is very cool...I want it...and if it's sold out already, I want it even more, cause girls love what they can't have, right ?!

1. Le jour, La nuit and Le Weekend de Chanel: Questi sieri di bellezza hanno un odore divino e una consistenza e aspetto lussuosi. Ho provato dei campioncini offerti dalla mia profumeria di fiducia e da allora sto pianificando di acquistarli tutti e tre (il portafoglio già piange...) ! Gli obiettivi di questi prodotti sono radiosità e resistenza della pelle, contengono ognuno un acido: il Salicilico per Le jour, lo Ialuronico per La nuit e il Glicolico per le Weekend, da usare solo il sabato e la domenica dato che ha un'azione esfoliante e sbiancante.

2. La Mer moisturizing cream: questo idratante leggendario è nella mia wishlist da troppo tempo, il prezzo mi ha frenata ma prima o poi devo averlo ! Ne ho sentito meraviglie, soprattutto per chi ha la pelle tendente al secco come la mia. Qualcuno di voi l'ha mai provata ?.

3: Gimme Brow - Benefit: Per sopracciglia in evidenza, questo gel volumizzante sembra lo strumento giusto per sopracciglia alla Cara Delevingne senza assomigliare a Peo Pericoli. Amo Benefit così tanto che devo comprare anche questo prodotto !.

4. Shu Uemura Volume Maker: Un pennello che, con una semplice polverina, promette volume per la mia chioma...per un'amante delle capigliature con volume come me, un must have ! Se dovesse funzionare, siete avvertiti...nessuno metterà la mia cofana in un angolo !

5. Blush de Guerlain limited edition collection Automne: Amo i colori di questo blush in edizione limitata, nonché la confezione tutta nera...semplicemente, lo voglio...e se è già difficile da trovare perché sold out, lo voglio ancora di più, perché dopotutto le ragazze amano ciò che non possono avere, giusto ?!.

And now a quick review of something really cool that I needed very much. In the first pic above you can see a glimpse of my beauty corner, that is just the second place where I store my make up (the first place being my personal bathroom).

Right on my white Ikea Malm table, that I use as vanity table, besides my BabyLiss mirror, you can see a lovely white clutch. This fancy clutch is my newest Luxury Make up Brush set from Nanshy ! I needed new brushes and these ones are beautiful, synthetic, good quality make up brushes. The set contains 13 elegant brushes in a beautiful storage bag that is very comfortable to bring with me when I travel.

E adesso, una veloce review di qualcosa che era nella mia wishlist da un po'. Nella prima foto sopra potete scorgere il mio angolo beauty, che è il secondo posto, dopo il mio bagno personale, in cui conservo il mio make up. 

Proprio sul mio tavolo Ikea Malm, che uso come vanity table, vicino allo specchio lumioso BabyLiss, potete notare una graziosa pochette bianca. Quella clutch contiene il mio nuovo Set di Pennelli Nanshy !. Avevo bisogno di nuovi pennelli e questi sono belli, sintetici e di ottima qualità. Il set che ho io contiene 13 pennelli eleganti racchiusi in questa bella borsina che li protegge ed è anche molto comoda da portare in viaggio.

I am definately not a make up artist, I am just a make up lover, and therefore my brushes have to be easy to use and to handle, and with this set I can reach any corner of my face and eyes easily, for a comfort make up application and have a good result with a short time. I like Nanshy brushes, they came to my house from UK very quickly and with a perfect packaging, they have ergonomic designed handles, not to mention that they are all white and since most of my flat is white they look so stylish and are cruelty free. A friend of mine told me she wants them for herself and I am also considering getting a few of these sets as a Christmas gifts, since they are pretty and useful !.

Sicuramente non sono una make up artist, sono solo una amante del make up, pertanto i  miei pennelli devono essere facili da usare e da impugnare, e con questo set posso raggiungere ogni angolo del mio viso e dei miei occhi con facilità, per applicare il make up con buoni risultati e in poco tempo. Mi piacciono i pennelli Nanshy, sono arrivati velocemente dall'Inghilterra con una confezione perfetta, hanno un'impugnatura ergonomica e, oltretutto, sono tutti bianchi e stanno benissimo a casa mia, dove il colore bianco dei mobili prevale...hanno un'aria molto "stilosa" oltre ad essere cruelty free, non essendo di origine animale. Una mia amica li ha visti da me e mi ha già detto che li prenderà e io sto pensando di acquistarne qualche set da regalare per Natale, dato che sono belli oltre che utili !.
