Blue like my new Balenciaga bag !

The sun is finally shining and Spring doesn't seem so far away now, what a perfect moment to sport my newest bag ! It's a cobalt blue mini giant Balenciaga City and I am so in love with it ! I think the color is perfect as I have been really obsessed with cobalt blue lately.
The hardware is rose gold and it's a new feature of the Balenciaga bags, starting for Spring 2012, they have introduced new hardware which is bigger than the regular one but smaller than the usual giant hardware, they call it "Giant 12" whereas the bigger Giant is "Giant 21".
I personally like this compromise cause I couldn't decide myself about Giant 21 hardware, I wasn't totally sure it was the right style for me but I wanted something more "bold" compared to regular.
I think a Céline can wait for now...I wanted a cobalt blue bag and the Balenciaga seemed much more versatile and light to me and the leather is so soft ! In the future I'd rather get a neutral colored Céline.

Finalmente il sole splende e la Primavera non sembra poi essere così lontana, momento perfetto per far uscire la mia borsa nuova ! E' una Balenciaga City mini giant blu cobalto e ne sono totalmente innamorata !. Ultimamente sono un po' fissata con il blu cobalto e il colore di questa borsa è perfetto per me !.
Le borchie sono in color oro rosa e la loro dimensione è una nuova caratteristica introdotta da Balenciaga a partire dalla Primavera 2012, ovvero le borchie sono di una grandezza intermedia tra quelle regolari e quelle più grandi ovvero "Giant", sono chiamate "Giant 12" mentre le grandi sono chiamate "Giant 21".
Mi piace questo compromesso perché non riuscivo a decidermi sul Giant 21, non ero sicura che le borchie così grandi fossero adatte al mio stile e, allo stesso tempo, volevo qualcosa di più "forte" dell'hardware regolare.
Credo che la Céline possa attendere a questo punto...volevo una borsa blu cobalto e la Balenciaga mi è sembrata più versatile e leggera, inoltre la pelle è di una morbidezza unica ! In futuro opterei più per una Céline dal colore neutro.

This one is my second Balenciaga bag, the first one is a Work black bag with regular hardware, so this was such a nice add ! I have to say at first glance the City seemed even small to me, cause I am used to big bags, but in reality it is not, you can fit many things in it !.
I paired it with this cobalt and black dress from Space Style Concept, an italian brand, for a blue cobalt outfit.
It doesn't happen all the time to have dresses that match the shoes like in this case, with those Icone ankle boots you had already seen in this post, together with my other Balenciaga bag ;-).
My cobalt blue obsession made me order new nail polishes from OPI, my fave nail polish brand ! The one I have on my nails is "Suzy says feng shui" from their Hong Kong collection and I absolutely love it, it has a great coverage and it's a lovely cobalt blue with a creme finish.

Questa è la mia seconda borsa Balenciaga, la prima è una Work nera con le borchie "regolari"; a prima vista la City mi sembrava persino piccola, per me così abituata a borse grandi, ma in realtà non lo è, vi è abbastanza spazio per parecchie cose !.
L'ho abbinata a questo abito blu cobalto e nero di Space Style Concept, brand italiano, per un outfit all'insegna del blu ! Non capita spesso di avere vestiti che rimandino alle scarpe nei colori, come è capitato con questo abito e i miei stivaletti di Icone che avevate già visto in questo post, insieme alla mia altra Balenciaga ;-).
La mia ossessione per il blu cobalto mi ha portata anche ad ordinare degli smalti nuovi da OPI, la mia marca di smalti preferita ! Quello che ho sulle unghie è "Suzi says feng shui" della collezione Hong Kong e mi piace tantissimo, ha un'ottima coprenza ed è un blu cobalto molto fine e cremoso.
